“The Hoarder’s Guide to Family History Preservation”

Presented by: Cheri Daniels

Does your family have a multi-generational tradition of “hoarding”? This tradition can be both a blessing and a curse for genealogists. As our family archivists, our job is to prioritize what gets preserved and what gets discarded. Our June speaker, with her familial hoarding history as a preservation driving force, and her professional archivist career as an access tempering guide, will provide you with the structure and advice necessary to evaluate your family history collection, identify potential future homes for longevity, and implement a practical approach for discarding what needs to go. Join us to learn how to prioritize your family’s significant pieces and prepare them for long term stability.
